Professional Background

    • ISHA Certified Personal Trainer
    • 20 years of weight-lifting experience
    • 8 years of professional training and client support

Career Highlights

Before finding his calling in fitness, Shawn’s career path included:

    • Running an OTR (Over-The-Road) trucking company specializing in thoroughbred horse transportation
    • Serving as a minister
    • Working in the water department for the City of Metropolis

This varied experience has equipped Shawn with valuable skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving, which he now applies to his personal training practice.

Shawn’s commitment to fitness and his clients’ success is evident in his long-standing dedication to the field. With two decades of personal weightlifting experience and nearly a decade of professional training, he has the knowledge and expertise to guide clients of all levels towards their fitness objectives.

Currently offering personal training at the CMT YMCA, Shawn would love to meet you and help you meet and exceed your fitness goals!
